Children should come to school each day with a coat appropriate to the weather.
Please give consideration to the suitability of footwear: we encourage black shoes. Jelly shoes, high heels, sling backs or other fashion shoes are not allowed as these are dangerous on our floors.
Pupils wear white t shirt, red shorts and black slip on pumps for PE lessons. They are to be kept in school in a drawstring bag clearly labelled with the owner’s name. These are kept on the child’s peg in the cloakroom and will be sent home regularly for washing.
Pupils are to wear suitable swim wear for lessons.
– Girls one-piece costume and swimming hat
– Boys suitable trunks, not shorts style
– One towel clearly labelled
Swimming goggles are not encouraged, however if you wish your child to use these a letter of consent is required. Please contact the school office for further information.
Please ensure your child has a suitable swimming bag for holding wet clothing. Plastic carrier bags are not encouraged.
Due to Health and Safety regulations, we ask that earrings are removed for PE and swimming lessons.
If you wish your child to wear earrings to school, we ask that they are stud earrings.
If you are considering having your child’s ears pierced, we ask that you do this at the beginning of the summer holidays to ensure they can take part in physical activities during the school day.
Please ensure your child is confident in removing their earrings as staff as not allowed to remove them for your child.
Please don’t let your child bring personal items to school, unless it is requested as part of a topic or project by the class teacher.
Lost property is located in the cloakroom area. If you need to find lost items ask the staff who will be happy to help.
