School Council

Our School Council comprises two representatives from each class who have been elected by their peers. They represent all the pupils and make decisions on their behalf.

School Council meetings are attended by the elected children and some of the school governors. The meetings let pupils voice their opinions and have their views taken into account in decisions which impact upon them.

Recently the School Council decided to raise money to buy toys, games and equipment to use at playtime. They ran a sponsored read for the whole school and held a book sale. They managed to raise the fantastic sum of £365! The council representatives chose to spend the money on pedal go karts, prams, dolls, wooden tower building blocks and other outdoor games.

Well done to the School Council and all the children who helped raise the funds.
