School governor Andrew Reay-Robinson said “I am very proud of the school council. They ran their own fund-raising events that raised £365. They were then very keen to spend the money fairly across all ages and classes as well as between boys and girls – at no point was there any arguing or selfishness. Well done to them all!

The school council consists of two representatives from each class. They hold regular meetings with a teacher and two school governors. The meetings let pupils voice their opinions and have their views taken into account in decisions which impact upon them.
