We have free places available in the Henry Prince nursery, near Ashbourne, for children who will be three or four in this academic year. If you would like to visit please call us on 01335 342613. All children are welcome in the nursery, whether or not you plan to send them to the school the following year.
In the early years, children settle quickly and make good progress from their starting points. Routines at the start of the school year have been well established. Staff use every opportunity to develop the children’s basic skills and they adapt the curriculum to engage the children’s interests.
Ofsted Report, 2017
Henry Prince has a separate garden and play area for our youngest children. We also provide the nursery children with their own bathroom facilities. There is a daily snack time where the children have the opportunity to try different fruits and have a drink of milk.
The nursery is open every afternoon from 12.15pm to 3.15pm. A teacher and a nursery nurse teach the nursery children. We follow the Early Years curriculum.
Henry Prince Nursery delivers:
- An inspiring environment for learning;
- A close-knit and friendly atmosphere;
- Excellent support for pupils of all backgrounds and abilities.
